Slitherlink was invented in 1989 by Japanese puzzle company
Nikoli. Since then, around 20 books
and one video game has been published.
Slitherlink is a puzzle that has a wide variety of logic that can be applied to
solve it. The puzzle consists of a grid with numbers in some of the squares. The
object is to fill in the puzzle with lines between the squares according to the
following rules:
- Each number indicates how many lines there are bordering that square
- The lines must form one continuous loop without any
lines crossing or branching off
